Dunkin’ Donuts Lebanon Partners with CHANCE – Fight Children’s Cancer

Dunkin’ Donuts Lebanon, the leading coffee and donuts chain, reaffirmed during the festive season, its commitment to its customers and society as a whole by partnering with CHANCE (Children Against Cancer), an association that aims at supporting financially, emotionally, and psychologically, children fighting cancer and blood diseases.

Based on CHANCE’s mission statement “every child has the right to be treated and cured regardless of the family’s financial conditions” DD gave away 1,000L.L to the association with every purchase of “1 Dunkaccino or Dunkalatte + 1 Donut”.

The operation that took place from mid December till early January 2011 was able to raise 9,689,500 L.L. The amount was generated not only from the sales but also from donation boxes that were placed in several Dunkin’ Donuts branches all over Lebanon.

Martha Zarazir, marketing manager of Dunkin’ Donuts Lebanon presented gladly the check to Dr. Roula Farah, president and founder of CHANCE, and Anne-Marie Nasr, Treasurer and founding member of CHANCE. Dunkin’ Donuts Lebanon will continue to support several associations throughout 2011 by displaying donation boxes in its various branches to raise awareness on the importance of giving back to society.
