Details: Since cancer is fought by being healthy, “Shoot for Life” is the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon’s newest event: based on the idea of merging sports, fun, and fundraising! Shoot for Life is a daylong basketball outing featuring sports, celebrities and generous non-celebrity patrons.

The highlight of this special day is an exclusive all-stars basketball gala game between old and new Lebanese superstars & will be broadcasted o…n LBCI in the aim of spreading awareness & fundraising for the children of the CCCL.

Date: May 8, 2011 Michel el Murr Stadium.

The event will incorporate several activities and competitions where everybody is welcome to participate:

1-Street basketball tournament that includes 16 teams, 4 players each (male) for under 18 and over 18 years old. (60$ per team)

2-Street basketball tournament that includes 16 teams, 4 players each (female) for under 18 and over 18 years old.(60$ per team)

3-Dunk competition only male (20$/per)

4-3-points shooting competition male and female (15$/per)

5-Big variety of outdoor competitive and sportive games.

Entrance for the public and non players will be a 10 000LL fee.

All proceeds from Shoot for Life will support the treatment of children with cancer at the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL). ”
