After 15 years of absence, the legendary rock icons “Scorpions” finally came back to Lebanon to give their fans three nights to remember. Scorpions expressed how much they missed Lebanon and its people and how happy they are to be here again. In front of a full house of rock enthusiasts, Scorpions rocked Byblos Festival 2011. The energetic group kept welcoming the crowd in Arabic all night long.
The event was special on so many levels. Three nights are already fully booked with well over 18,000 fans who want to be a part of what may be the last tour the Scorpions will be doing.
The lucky crowd watched the Scorpions tour show “Rock you like a Hurricane” with full enthusiasm. The band performed their greatest hits in a magical way throughout the night. Some even had the chance to grab some drum sticks that were thrown at the crowd during the evening. A great souvenir!
At one point, the drummer came running to hug his band mates with the Lebanese flag. They held it up further showing their love for. Fans roared in appreciation.
Scorpions, best known for their rock anthems kept the crowd on their feet; singing their hearts out all night. “Rock you like a Hurricane” was almost impossible to sit down during… BeirutNightLife’s personal favorite Scorpion jam was “Send Me an Angel”.
Due to the high level of demand, Scorpions extended their tour in Lebanon, which is a part of their “Farewell Tour” for one more night in Byblos.
