On Tuesday night, Casino du Liban witnessed an extravagant celebration of beauty from all over the globe. 30 gorgeous beauty queens from the four corners of the world met in Beirut to compete for the title of “Miss World Next Top Model 2010”
The incredibly sexy contestants launched the pageant with the pinnacle of sensuality and glamour: the swimsuit competition. With 30 perfectly sculpted bodies, the judges, and crowd, had a tough time choosing their favorites.
Next, the steaming-hot and energetic sensuality turned into a graceful show of elegance, with the 30 girls putting on evening dresses that could only be described as spectacular. The designer dresses fit every girl perfectly, bringing out the best features in each contestant’s seemingly handcrafted body.
The pageant was not restricted to the contestants’ beauty and attitude, but also saw a surprise guest: Lebanese-Canadian international pop star K-maro. K-maro wowed the audience with his all-time favorite “Femme Like You”, adding even more intimacy to the night of resounding inner and outer beauty.
The judges’ panel consisted of leaders in the local and international beauty and fashion industry, such as Elie Nahas, Nathalie Fadlallah, Dr. Nader Saab and a handful of other prominent figures in the entertainment world. After eliminating 18 contestants, only 12 remained. The 12 soon became the 4 runners-up and the pageant’s winner: Miss Venezuela, with her first runner-up being Miss Lebanon.
All in all, the night was a magnificent celebration of the world’s most beautiful and witty young women, who were carefully chosen and screened to vie for the ultimate title of “Miss World Next Top Model 2010.” Lebanon, with the help of Mr. Elie Nahas, has proven it is an international hub for beauty and fashion, and will hopefully continue to dazzle the world with its fine taste.
