Cirque du Soleil is back in Lebanon and it’s another magical show! The characteristic and classic show called Dralion, which is directed by Guy Caron, is being staged at Forum de Beyrouth from Thursday till Sunday for two weekends, the last show taking place on October 20. The Asian inspired creation is a fusion of 3000 year-old traditions of Chinese acrobatic arts with the impressive modern-day approach of Cirque du Soleil. The show’s name is also a fusion of two magnificent animals: the dragon, symbolizing the East, and the lion, symbolizing the West. In the show, which features clowns, all kinds of different acrobats and dancers, and loads of amazing costumes and set design, the contrasts of East vs. West are seen in the vivid performances, each of which is unique and exciting. Guests of all ages loved the show, munched on snacks, and oh!-ed and ah!-ed at the amazing Cirque Du Soleil talents on stage. Check out the amazing photos:
