The festive season in Beirut Souks was inaugurated on Saturday, December 5th with the lighting of the Patchi Christmas Tree of Moving Light, under the patronage of H.E. Mr. Michel Pharaon, Minister of Tourism and in collaboration with Solidere. The celebration was attended by General Manager of Solidere Mr. Mounir Douaidy, the founder of Patchi Mr. Nizar Choucair and the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Mohammad Choucair.
Celebrations started with a Christmas parade by Mini Studio, and it was graced by the presence of 50 children from the Tamanna Organization. Adding to this festive atmosphere was the opening of Afkart – the designers’ Christmas Fair- in Souk Tawileh and Souk El Jamil and Ajameh Square.
Just like chocolate, the season is about the ceremonies of being together, of sharing and spreading joy. Beirut Souks will host several activities to celebrate with everyone until the 7th of January.
