Cavalli Caffe Opens Deluxe Doors

The luxurious and long-awaited Cavalli Caffe is finally open in Beirut! Roberto Cavalli himself came to the launching party this weekend, with swarms of celebrities, fashionistas and socialites crowding to see the renowned Italian designer in person. From divas Haifa and Nancy, to fashion designer Rami Kadi, and television personalities Carla Haddad and Aline Watfa, among many many others, it was a star-studded evening where guests got to view the venue for the first time and sample delicious hors d’oeuvre, flowing Champaign and hands-down the best Sangria in the country. The event featured loads of gorgeous models dressed in unique, attention-grabbing accessories, like a helmet made of flowers, and something resembling antlers, speared with chocolates, all designed by international chef Tom Wolfe, who also created signature dishes for the restaurant.

It should come as no surprise that the Cavalli Caffe is stunningly decorated, and looks much like a Roberto Cavalli couture dress — lots of stylish zebra and giraffe prints, and lavish gold accents. The menu of Italian cuisine looks enticing — particularly intriguing is the zebra-print ravioli. Located in the Karagulla Building next to the Porsche dealership, the restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and is the perfect new elite spot  to see and be seen in the city.
