Sunday 29 January 2012: Jored Tannourine Snowshoeing
The Jored of Tannourine is unique with its marvelous scenery. Nature lovers will explore the purity of the land, which is a perfect place for the people yearning to go back to mother-nature arms and enjoy silence and beauty.
The snow hike will start at Ain Al Hamra at around 1800m towards Wadi Al Jored followed by an appetizing homemade lunch prepared by the local community.

Departure Time: 07h45 a.m Estimated return time: 18h30 p.m.
Length of the hike: +/- 4 hours; around 8 kms
Minimum number of participants: 10
Level: moderate Uphill: 100m/downhill: 250m.

Stop en route: Yes, for the breakfast and rent the snowshoe equipment.
What to bring: ID card, Backpack, waterproof hiking boots, extra socks and spare shoes, warm layers, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, fleece jacket, windproof or waterproof jacket, 1.5 liter of mineral water, gloves, chapstick, snacks and dry fruits
Prices 38 US$ for adults 31 US$ for Children 14-16 years old (they should be physically fit)
Includes: Transportation from/to Beirut, Byblos & Beyond local representative, late Lunch prepared by the local community and the insurance
