Jounieh: Lebanon’s Picturesque City by the Sea

With it’s stunning views, beautiful beaches, rocky shores and picturesque bay, Jounieh is no doubt one of Lebanon’s most beautiful cities. Just north of Beirut, it boasts loads of delicious seaside restaurants, as well as busy beach and yacht clubs, and gorgeous nature. The seaside city of Jounieh is connected to the famous shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon in Harissa in the mountains above via a cablecar (le téléphérique), and visitors enjoy the town’s old stone souk, the Lebanese Heritage museum, ferry port, the Casino du Liban and bustling nightlife throughout the city.
