The Eid el Fitr holidays are over and you need to get back into the nightlife scene. Luckily we’re here to help you plan your week ahead (we’re thoughtful like that). Make this your hottest Beirut summer yet, every night of the week!
Monday:
While many bars close on Monday nights, Beirut is a city that doesn’t stop so there’s always a crowd looking for the hottest place to be. Monday nights at Garden State will have you sitting in an industrial-inspired flowery sanctuary in the middle of seemingly nowhere, listening to the best live bands in the country, snacking on delicious food and sipping on signature cocktails. There’s no better way to start the week!
Tuesday:
Tuesdays don’t have to be boring. Catch the sun set into the Mediterranean from Iris rooftop. The show-stopping view from the top of Al-Nahar building combined with amazing fusion dishes and arguably the best sangria in the country is just what you need to get you through the rest of the week. Its perfect any night but their live band nights attract a full house every time.
Wednesday:
Why not spend hump day perched on top of Beirut? The Four Season’s The Roof will give you a bird’s eyeview and a perfect perspective of the horizon as the sun sets into the sea. Summer sunsets are what we live for in Beirut, and one of the most gorgeous views in the city is definitely here. There’s a theme night every night but Wednesday’s are special because the dazzling Lara Rain sets her voice free, and takes you on a magical musical journey.
Thursday:
Thirsty Thursdays call for a ride at Trainstation. They’ve got a collection of the best DJs in town, authentic trains from Beirut’s glory days. a live grill station, and a low-key cool vibe that makes you want to come back every week. It’s a history lesson and a bar experience all in one, and it doesn’t get more Beirut than Train Station.
Friday:
Friday nights are a time for release! TGIF, the weekend is finally FINALLY here and it’s time to really let loose at Decks on the Beach. Set in the iconic Sporting Club in Raouche, these hipster-filled parties provide the perfect dancing beats, a colorful disco dance floor, and the awe of being by the Mediterranean, with an amazing sea breeze and the freest spirits in the country dancing the night away.
Saturday:
Saturday nights are a busy time all over, and to be be a true Beiruti you always need to visit a couple of places to get a complete experience. Here’s a formula: start with drinks at Capitole, go on to dance the night away at White, SKYBAR or Cassino, and of course, end the night at non other than B018. After such an intense night, you’ll need some sustenance, so it’s off to Zaatar w Zeit or Leil Nhar (or maybe Jabbour) for the perfect afterparty breakfast that will help contain tomorrow’s hangover!
Sunday:
There’s only one way to end the weekend and that’s with SKYBAR’S Sun.days. These nights have taken the nightlife scene in Lebanon by storm, giving us international weekly artists in the chillest, trendiest and most summery of settings. Unlike the dazzling SKYBAR nights we’ve always been to, these casual evenings start at sunset, with a complete facelift to the venue — including grass, a low bar, beach beds and incredible indy acts.
