The Weekly Leaks: Beirut’s Newest Venue, 32 Floors Up. And Brut to Become Chocolate

Habtoor Hotel is a towering landmark in Beirut, dwarfing its surrounding neighbors with it’s 32 dizzyingly-high floors.

The 32nd floor is going to become a night club! We are proud to announce that BNL got the scoop on this venue, expected to open by the end of March/beginning of April!

It will be called 32 (which coincidentally is my absolute favorite number) and will be a full-fledged night club with arguably the best panoramic view in town. It will feature weekly appearances by the region’s biggest DJs and artists, with international talents flying in on a regular basis as well. Weekdays are set to be theme nights, with both clubber favorites and new concepts being introduced.

Here are some more photos of the final touches, the breathtaking view and the architectural plans

Chocolate Moves to Monot

We know most of you already know, but for those of you who don’t, Chocolate Club’s (Jojo Zarifeh’s Team) has found a new venue and announced the reopening date.

The location is Brut’s current venue on Monot Street, and the opening date is set for March 19th, 2011. Beirutnightlife.com will bring you coverage of that reopening, which has had many Lebanese clubbers talking and pondering.
