The Sunday Blues: Chocolate by Jojo’s Re-Opening, St Patrick’s Day and Some Skiing at Night in the Cedars

The chance to be part of the Quiksilver team is one many young Lebanese athletes would not miss lightly. See them compete for one of the the 18 finalist spots in exhibition junior ski and snow competition. Any snowboarder or skier, between the age of 8 and 14, can compete in the freestyle competition. Friday

This is one busy night, with several prominent events and occasions you’re gonna have to carefully go over yourselves, and try, like we are, to be in all these places on Friday night.

The first one, is the swift, and much-anticipated return of Jojo’s Chocolate Club, reopening in Brut’s underground venue on Monot street. The record-time will have Chocolate’s die-hard fans quite relieved to see the legendary House and RnB nights back on their weekly nightlife schedules (more info)

The second is the Beat Factory at B018. The talents of two of house music’s heavyweights have come together, igniting an explosive combination of beat and sound, as they bring to life their instinct for infectious, melodically infused, soul-powered and driving house music. BiG AL and Beat Factory (Levente Szabo) join forces to bring Beirut an amalgam of sound that is unrivaled. Sari will be warming things up. Kiss me I’m Irish at Maison Blanche is introducing the St Patrick’s Day celebrations to Beirut. Loads of beer and an all-green wardrobe characterizes this celebration of the Irish’s patron saint. Join the fun this year, and let’s make it an annual tradition! Check out the lineup and details here
