B018 Bio: Not only was B018 on our top 20 list for 2011, I am positive that if we had a top 5, B018 would be placed on that as well. This after hours underground utopia is literally the one place everyone in Lebanon turn to for a perfect night of partying. B018, located beneath the busy streets of Beirut, was designed by renowned Lebanese architect Bernard Khoury and was initiated by a famed name in music, Naji Gebran. Today, B018 houses top resident DJ’s Ziad Ghosn and Gunther & Stamina, hosts killer events with big names such as our progressive house master Fady Farreye and welcomes top international DJ’s to guest spin unmatched sets. One of the club’s most impressive features, the retractable roof, opens up at dawn to unveil the starlit sky and city lights which reflect off of its massive mirror positioned at a 50 degree angle. With wartime feel, located where a refugee camp used to house 20,000 evacuees during the Lebanese Civil War, B018 is basically a mock bomb shelter where clubbers drink and dance the night away. B018 definetly deserves to be on the top 100 list on DJ magazine. BNLer’s help them get there!
