IndepenDANCE, BYOB and Smoke Machines at the Basement

In celebration of Lebanese Independence day, the Basement decided to open its doors to all Lebanese for free on Sunday night.

Clubbers brought their own alcohol, juices and soft drinks, and the Basement provided the tables, the music, the smoke machine, glasses and ice. Everything from several-hundred dollar whiskeys, to several-gallon vodka gallons and even beer six-packs and 2L Coke bottles could be found scattered around the club.

Jade and Diamond Setter hit the decks, in sets truly worthy of celebrating Lebanon’s 67 years of independence.

The smoke machine added an unfamiliar element to the Basement, with plumes of smoke flooding the dancefloor in a refreshing cool breeze as the dancing, lights and sounds of the Basement shaped and shifted the smoke.
