The prestigious Movenpick Hotel and Resort Beirut showed appreciation to its clients, friends and colleagues by delivering a night to remember! On Friday September 16th we felt the beat on the sandy beach of the Movenpick Resort. At 8:30PM the exclusive beach fiesta commenced. Upon entrance I was greeted by beautiful masked women in white handing out fruity welcoming alcohol shots directly followed by a welcoming glass of strawberries in champagne. Movenpick’s general manager was present and humbly greeting guests at the door. The night was already off to a great start. I stepped onto the sand to find a beach occupied by tables, private cabanas, decorative jet skis and kayaks full of Almaza beer, a Bacardi mixology booth along with a full open bar literally stocked with a tower of Stolichnaya Elit. Food trays and all you can eat pirate ships turned buffet lines were full of lobster, shrimp, crab, salads, meat dishes and more. The vibe was perfect the food was delicious and the music kept the party bumpin’.
Caribbean style music resonated from the sound system while guests got down on the seafront dance floor. Mid evening amazing percussionist Moustafa Temssah performed a live drum show that made hearts beat quickly. Moustafa involved the crowd by distributing hand shakers and tambourines which partygoers had a blast playing along to the beat. DJ Said Mrad took over the DJ booth supplying a mix of Arabic and English commercial hits.
The “Feel The Beat” event at Movenpick was a perfect way to end the summer. BNL would like to thank the Movenpick for a wonderful evening and for the lovely souvenir, I was surprised to find in my car, a kind gesture from the Movenpick team.
