There was a sense of magic in the air on the weekend of October 7th & 8th. One could say that the much-anticipated Cirque du Chic themed re-opening of renowned club Whisky Mist had something do with it. Guests arrived at the beautiful Phoenicia Hotel dressed to the 9’s! A gorgeous hostess decked out in a circus styled burlesque outfit was present to escort the clubbing elite to their designated tables. Waiters played their part attending to the guests dressed as circus ringleaders. The event sponsored by Bocti (for Stoli Elit) and Fatal (for Grey Goose) came equipped with 10 circus themed entertainers including acrobats, dancers, instrumentalists and more. The club was figuratively speaking lit up by stunning attendees and literally speaking lit up by trippy laser light shows.
Whisky Mist brought in amazing DJ’s including Germany’s DJ/Producer Keano Gray, who along with his amazing and uplifting presence supplied a perfect mix of House, Hip-Hop and R&B. Also on deck was the beautiful and talented DJAmel (France). She pumped up the place with a commercial house flavor
At approximately 12:30 burlesque babes sprung up onto the illuminated platforms located in the center of the club and proceeded to sensually entertain clubbers. The sexy freak show went off! The dancers were not only talented in motion but played instruments such as saxophone, drums and violin very beautifully. My burlesque style hat is off to these performers. The organizers over at Whisky Mist executed a very entertaining re-opening party with style. I am most definitely looking forward to more action packed nights at the Mist.
