White: Quite possibly my favorite rooftop/club of all time. Add-mind’s White is one of those venues that will stand the test of time. The name White is synonymous with prevalent, sought out and sexy. White is similar to Beirut in the sense they both are pulsating with energy, oozing with style and attract one of the most cosmopolitan crowds this side of the Mediterranean. This pure white nightlife getaway is located seaside invites guests to soak in the finest atmosphere, enjoy the sassiest beats and enjoy a wonderful view perched up high on its rooftop. As night falls White brings on their surprises including sexy professional dancers, DJ’s who constantly rock the house and a who’s-who line up of top world famous international acts. Le Capitole: Another gorgeous rooftop perfect to stop into on a nightly basis. Location, location, location…. this rooftop located in one of the most majestic areas in Lebanon, its Downtown. Le Capiole sits perched up on the rooftop of the Asseily Bulding. Although it is a rooftop the venue provides a lovely indoor space as well for guests who prefer the cozy indoor feel. The view from the terrace is incredible making it an ideal spot for the esteemed people of Beirut to enjoy a drink and dine to trendy lounge music. This unique innovative venue is perfect for any occasion.
Pier 7: Last summer Lebanon saw the opening of the countries newest open-air club. Crystal Group put their talented production team to work yet again, this time to deliver the future of nightlife experiences. Pier 7 took the clubbers of Lebanon into another world, an escape at the sea. Its architecture is different this summer as the design team revamped the entire club for summer 2012. Revelers can now dance, socialize, and easily move around to mingle under the stars. Last summer Crystal Group delivered loads of A-Class international artists to perform on the Pier 7 stage…and this year is no different. Tons of international artists such as Jason Derulo, DJ Snake, Amanda Wilson and more have already graced the stage. Pier 7 is open all summer long with new themed nights and more. Check out the revamped Pier 7, it is the place to be!
Iris: Welcome to a sensual and stylish cocktail bar and restaurant with a breathtaking view that plays mellow lounge music and serves mouthwatering food. Its “garden party” setting is absolutely wonderful; light bulbs, trees and shrubs are combined to create a very comfortable, homey yet sophisticated ambiance. Whether it’s sunset drinks at 6 pm to relax and unwind from a stressful and heavy day or a delicious dinner selected from their international menu that was prepared by a French gourmet chef, the Iris experience is unique and unforgettable – and as most have called it, “magical”.
The Roof at the Four Seasons: Located at the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel Beirut, The Roof became Lebanon’s highest rooftop lounge when it opened last summer. Located on the hotel’s 26th floor by the celestial pool, the venue boasts one of the most breathtaking views of the city. The sea, city, stars and lights – you can see it all at once while sipping a refreshing cocktail or nibbling on some delicious Asian-inspired bites. The soft, comfortable seating and the chill out, lounge music made this venue an ideal location for trendy, unpretentious people who want to relax. The Roof is opening during the summer season only so take it all in while you can.
Funktion: Although there are a few rooftops already situated in Lebanon that is not to say there isn’t enough room for one more! Especially one that comes fully equipped with three levels, huge VIP lounges, a wonderful wait staff, large projection screens surrounding the already well decorated area, awesome lighting and great music to boot! The multiple levels are roomy providing guests with the opportunity to mingle and dance without stumbling over fellow partyers. Funktion, the novel rooftop nightclub located in Zalka, is Lebanon’s newest rooftop, which already has a huge following. During its first few weeks Funktion welcomed professional dancers, international recording artists, and an A-Class Rapper to entertain clubbers. The one and only comedian Nemr Abou Nassar was also there MCing and mingling with guests. BeirutNightLife.com is looking forward to many more evenings spent at the newest rooftop around, Funktion.
Skybar: The open-air oasis that needs no introduction. Since it’s inception Sky bar was an enormous hit. It is arguably the favored hotspot for both Lebanese and foreign jetsetters alike. Not only is a great place to leave all your inhibitions at the door, the venue can also be enjoyed for a lovely dinning experience. This massive outdoor restaurant and nightclub is truly one of a kind. Since it caters to an upscale clientele the club always steps up its game, acting as a haven for the most elite VIPs. Designed to capture a sense of unrivaled luxury and style. This super club hosts numerous events throughout the year, invites international acts to perform as well as delivers a perfect mix of resident DJ’s. In short Skybar is the place to be seen, as the open-air is on a pedestal of its own.
LED: Like I said, Lebanon’s night-lifers can’t seem to get enough of that rooftop love…which is why more and more are sprouting up around the country. This summer LED opened its doors in Jounieh, which is great for folks in the area who don’t want to drive down to Beirut every night. Led rooftop boasts a lovely view of the beautiful mountains and the glorious Harissa landmark. Resident DJs are present to set the mood supplying commercial House and pop tunes throughout the evening. If you are in the area definitely stop by and check out the new cool and cozy rooftop spot.
C-Lounge: C-Lounge is a rooftop bar that’s been in the Beirut clubbing scene for the past few years and is still going strong. During the summer the rooftop opens its doors for fun, energetic, and youthful evenings of partying to dance floor hits along with cool vibes. The ambiance is young, upbeat and fresh with the venue full on a nightly basis. Enjoy its breathtaking view of the city from the top of the BayView Hotel while feeling relaxed in the place’s comfortable and laid back environment. Add C-Lounge to your list of places to party this summer.
Cherry on the Rooftop
Last summer Le Gray Hotel introduced a chic and sophisticated rooftop doused in finesse. It’s the newest bar to open up at the Le Gray. Serving delicious cocktails and delectable finger food, this is a location for people to come relax, chill and enjoy the beautiful view. Much like every other Le Gray Hotel outlet, it is trendy with a unique identity, attracting Lebanon’s most stylish crowd. Don’t forget to come check out the gorgeous infinity pool that very could be the Cherry on the Rooftop.
