Have you been to Mybar yet? If you haven’t, and are looking for the ultimate lounge style nightlife spot, make sure you head over to Downtown and check out this place. Mybar is spacious with two large levels. The first level is full very modernly designed circular booths that include 2-5 seats attached to a pole which runs vertically from the floor up to the ceiling. The lower level is perfect for a couple to a small group ready to mingle. Heading upstairs you will discover large comfy white couches available for larger groups ready to pop a bottle or two. Upstairs the music heard loudly and very well, and guests have a great view of the clubbers chilling on the lower level. These elements make for a perfect club feel. Two full bars are set up, one upstairs and one downstairs, as well as waiters constantly circling the room therefore waiting for a drink is hardly ever an issue. By 11pm the house is nearly full, after 12am the place is packed with night-lifers who have let loose. Don’t forget to have a taste of the delicious international cuisine. I suggest the Tuna Tartar, YUM!
Being that I already like the bar when I heard NRJ Radio Lebanon was teaming up with Mybar to present Friday Night Lights, an evening dedicated to 90’s music, I was ecstatic to say the least. I showed up to Mybar to find resident DJ Pierre supplying beloved jams from 90’s hit-makers such as Ace of Base, Mariah Carey, Mark Morrison (Return of the Mack) and more! Everyone in the room seemed extremely relaxed and only there to have a great time. If you are like me, and adore a blast from the (near) past, head over to Mybar on Friday night.
