The once very pregnant Jessica Simpson has just given birth! Jessica and her fiance Eric Johnson welcomed a 9 lb 13 oz baby girl named Maxwell Drew Johnson, as she announced on her website.
The couple got engaged in November 2010 and still haven’t gotten married. “I want him to be my husband so bad. I do still want to wear the pretty gown and everything, and I have to wait till after the baby. Now she’ll just be in the wedding,” said Jessica to Jay Leno, about marrying Eric.
Baby Maxwell is the couple’s first child together and Jessica picked the baby’s name a while ago. “It’s nothing shocking and nothing you’ll have to add to the dictionary,” she said about her daughter. “Still, when people hear it, they’ll know … why,” she told Elle magazine.
