The Time is Near – Faster and Cheaper Internet in Lebanon

Internet in Lebanon might finally be faster and cheaper by the end of September. The Cabinet approved a new price list that will soon be implemented one month after August 29.

What you and I want to know is how much will it cost and how faster will it be. According to news reports like Now Lebanon, “1 Mbps connection, the second-fastest available, costs 115,000 LL ($76.67) per month. Under the new regime, 1 Mbps will be the slowest connection sold by Ogero, the state-run telecom company, and will cost 24,000 LL ($16) per month. (Both price figures exclude the 10% value added tax.)”
