Once again, Central Station, a pub known for its handcrafted cocktails, is raising the bar by bringing international bartenders and setting new standards for Lebanon’s nightlife. Jad Ballout, the bar manager of Central Station and the winner of several prestigious awards, including Horeca Lebanon Best Bartender 2010 and Diageo Lebanon World-Class Bartender of the Year 2013, has built connections with the best bartenders around the world. This has allowed him to invite one of them to host exclusive bartending nights at Central Station, during which exceptional cocktail menus prepared by the guest bartenders are offered to the clubbers. Mattia Pastori from Bamboo Bar at the Armani Hotel-Milano, was the first guest bartender, followed by Monica Berg from Pollen Street Social-London. Central Station plans to host more guest bartending nights in the coming months, welcoming next Marian Beke from Nightjar-London, which made the list of the World’s Best 50 Bars Academy.
