Launching the 8th Edition of the Beirut Boat Show

The International Fairs & Promotions Group, at a press conference, announced the launch of the 8^th edition of the Beirut Boat Show 2012. Mr. Albert Aoun, President of the Board and General Director of IFP, opened the conference welcoming guests and announcing the Beirut Boat Show 2012, which will be at La Marina Joseph Khoury-Dbayeh from May 16^th to the 22^nd. Albert Aoun added that this year the show is expecting over thirty thousand guests this year. The boat show features leading international brand names in regards to the manufacturing of yachts, boats and water sports equipment. Sponsors of this epic event include the Waterfront City-La Marina Joseph Khoury, Mazerati Company, Le Royal Hotel and Ulysse Nardin luxury watches.

This show is amount the Middle East’s most important shows in the luxury maritime sector. Last year was an outstanding success with the participation of 130 exhibitors from 17 countries of which 50 companies were first time participants. Joelle Ghannam, Director of Beirut Boat Show says this year’s edition will be, “the most spectacular boat show in Lebanon’s history”. In conclusion, the speakers invited all luxury and leisure seeking yacht enthusiasts, Arabs, foreign tourists, Lebanese expats and residents as well as all water sports amateurs and professionals to visit the show for an outstanding experience offered by an event buzzing with luxury and leisure.
