In this context, the International Trade Exhibition & Conference for Environmental Technologies, Sustainability and Clean Energy, “EcOrient 2012” will be strategically positioned to introduce clean and energy efficient technologies, products, services and solutions.”
“Recent environmental reforms in the Middle East and Gulf countries have paved the way for increased investment potential in green business and energy development. In the case of Lebanon, the country received a major grant from the European Union to implement energy audits, energy efficiency standards and labels, and net-metering throughout its territory. In parallel, Gulf countries are channeling more economic resources into sustainable urban planning projects” Mr. Aoun added.
The International Trade Exhibition & Conference for Environmental Technologies, Sustainability and Clean Energy, “EcOrient 2012” will coincide with Project Lebanon 2012, The 17th International Trade Exhibition for Construction and Environmental Technology, the premier destination for all professionals in the construction industry from Lebanon and the Middle East to learn about the latest trends in the industry, establish new contacts or renew existing partnerships and explore new business opportunities. Last year, 827 exhibiting companies from over 30 countries participated in the event gathered to showcase their latest products and services, attracting 25,000 visitors.
