Diageo’s Johnnie Walker Keep Walking Lebanon, wins the Grand Prix Award in the category of Best Media 2011 at the Dubai Lynx Awards 2011. The media created by Leo Burnett, stars Bernard Khoury, a world-renowned Lebanese architect whose projects have become national monuments celebrated across the world. The media was shot at BO18.
The “Keep Walking” mantra is over a decade old and embodies an unwavering determination to succeed despite adversity. The campaign has celebrated Lebanon in times of happiness, and helped uplift the Lebanese spirit in times of despair, making Lebanon, as General Manager Tony Amine puts it “especially used to the Keep Walking attitude.”
The great campaign was shot and revealed at B018 the legendary club which ranked #40 in the world.
The Dubai Lynx Awards was a great success. Steve Lane, Festival Director, said that this year’s event was “outstanding and attended by over 1,100 delegates with some fantastic work being awarded, a diversity of content and top speakers and unmissable networking events.”
A total of 179 winners, seven Grand Prix, 22 golds, 58 silvers and 92 bronzes were bestowed during the gala. During the gala event, which took place at Madinat Jumeirah, Y&R Dubai was announced as the Agency and Networker of the Year and FP7/Bahrain as the Media Agency of the Year.
Leo Burnett Beirut walked away with two Grand Prix prizes in the Integrated and Media Categories.
