BeirutNightLife, the number one website in Lebanon and the region promoting Lebanese tourism and nightlife announced that the new website DinOutLebanon.com, the first ever interactive Lebanese and reality based restaurants reviews, not only through web editorials and write ups but through videography and photography.
The announcement comes as part of BeirutNightLife participation at HORECA 2010, The annual hospitality foodservice exhibition with 250 exhibitors including official participants from Cyprus, Egypt, Iran, Argentine and Poland; as well as participating countries coming from Canada, France, Jordan, KSA, Lebanon, Syria, and the UAE.
The new website titled “DineOutLebanon” will include a list of interactive categories that will attract web users in Lebanon, the region and the world. The new concept will allow users to view the restaurant and live the ambiance for minutes through professional High Definition (HD) videography, interviews with industry people. The informative website will also allow users to know more about the food industry and discover restaurants and cuisines in Lebanon and the world.
The website is expected to go online in the first week of June as well attracting a wide range of web users from house wives, expatriates, and tourists.
BeirutNightLife.com founder Jean Ghalo emphasized the importance of such a media mean to promote the food industry in Lebanon: “We target a large cluster of web users as well as making tourists life easier when they visit Lebanon through having the an objective feel, sense, and review of the venue,” added the founder.
Ghalo also explained the new logo and concept: ” RED is the color of food. You notice that most of restaurants use this color as it pops out and creates it own atmosphere. It simply makes you hungry by increasing your body’s metabolism. The YELLOW Yellow (orange) suggests the sun, expansiveness, happiness and high spirits. Yellow commands attention and suggests caution. It can be used successfully as a highlight.”
The website will include a number of categories including an online video directory, Tips & Tricks, Fun with Food, Gourmet Directory, Recipe of the day, promotions, and testimonials, as well as more to be announced on a later stage.
