The food lovers of Lebanon can’t wait for HORECA 2013 at BIEL! This annual exhibition hosts the foodservice industry’s players, big and small, and is the perfect place to see what the industry is up to. From April 9-12, every day at 4 to 9 PM it’ll be your chance to check out the more than 385 exhibitors from Lebanon as well as from Australia, France, Iran, Italy, Jordan, Oman, Poland, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, Spain and Sri-Lanka.
HORECA is the the region’s largest annual meeting place for both the hospitality and food and beverage service industries and this year it’s their 20th anniversary so get ready for the best even yet! Some very exciting features this year include a series of festivals celebrating the 20th anniversary, as well as a delegation of top 10 food writers who will be hosted by the Ministry of Tourism as part of TASTE LEBANON, a program aimed at promoting the food industries in the country. 30 local and international chefs and experts will be there, with more than 13 daily workshops and more than 10 competitions for excellence, innovation and creativity.
The event features the Annual Hospitality Forum, Hospitality Salon Culinaire, the Live Junior Chefs Competition, the Atelier Gourmand & Culinary Heritage, a Beverage & Wine Lab, a National Extra Virgin Olive Oil Contest, Floral Symphonies, the Liban Pack Packaging Innovation Parc, Technovation and Librairie Gourmande.
The organiser, Hospitality Services, has been organizing HORECA in Beirut since 1994, as well as Kuwait and KSA, publishing trade publications for the industry throughout the region.
