Cobone.com, the Middle East’s largest group buying website, has hit 1 million subscribers in just 14 months of operation, riding a trend of growing confidence in online shopping, and enhancements in usability that are drawing in first-time online shoppers.

Cobone.com is examining new ways of reaching out to customers intuitively and in hassle-free manner. In keeping with its strategy of multiple channels of interaction and communication, the company maintains a strong presence on social media networks and has recently launched a Cobone mobile application for the Android, iPhone, and iPad platforms which has had over 10,000 downloads within its first week.
“We’re excited about our mobile applications, because we see them drawing a new audience of mobile technology enthusiasts who can now check for daily deals on the go. Cobone.com is looking to further diversify its deals, and has just launched a dedicated fashion website with discounts on top luxury brands everyday. In recent months Cobone has launched a new electronics section on the site with great deals on iPads, Android phones and much more with record sales of over $300,000 in the first month. In the interests of customer convenience, the site also accepts a number of payment methods including credit cards, cash on delivery, PayPal and CashU.
