On July 15th 2010, to mark the inaugural of its arrival in Lebanon, Louis Vuitton welcomed famous international guests and local personalities at the opening of its first store in Beirut.
Hosted by Mr. Yves Carcelle (Chairman & CEO of Louis Vuitton) and H.E. Mr. Denis Pietton (Ambassador of France in Lebanon) the opening was marked by the honorific presence of Prime Minister Saad Hariri and Culture Minister Salim Wardeh.
French legend, Catherine Deneuve, as well as Lebanese actress and producer, Nadine Labaki, and famous singer, Haifa Wehbe, were also delighted to discover the new Louis Vuitton store.
The celebration took place in a mythical venue known as “La Bulle”, said to be the vestiges of an old cinema: a half-globe perched high, half-open onto the city. This true symbol of the city has been decorated for this occasion in a refined and emotional atmosphere, highly festive. Yasmine Hamdan performed during the party, in presence of guests such as Christian Louboutin, Elie Saab, Marwan RechamouI.
