Beirut Cooking Festival 2013

 Beirut Cooking Festival

At the 2013 Beirut Cooking Festival you can meet in person, cook alongside and learn from celebrity chefs, experts in the art of service, authorities on etiquette and connoisseurs of wine and beverages.

Known for their hospitality and love of food, the Lebanese are curious and love to learn and discover. Affirming they frequently cook for pleasure, it is only natural that Lebanon should have a dedicated culinary event aimed at indulging amateur chefs.

In its third edition, the Beirut Cooking Festival, dedicated to cooking lovers, comes back stronger than ever with high caliber chef demonstrations, live cooking, on the spot teaching, culinary challenges and tasting sessions. It is also the place to discover latest innovations that will indicate tomorrow’s trends, culinary novelties, art of service, utensils and books.

This year brings a richer and more diversified program with much, much more on offer. Our ambition is to diffuse Lebanon’s gastronomy, this heritage that each citizen cherishes, from our homes throughout our territories and abroad. To be bestowed with real moments of sharing, conviviality and art of living, each day, many of us dedicate time to cooking.

Our main objective remains to promote Beirut as the capital of taste in the Middle East.

Several stands are dedicated to associations, enterprises and handicrafts. The guest chefs are mainly Lebanese and several workshops are themed around traditional cuisine.
