After Bassem Youssef accusations… Elissa is next!?

After reports that the Egyptian Musicians Union intend to take a series of decisions against Lebanese singer Elissa due to her support for the comedian Bassem Youssef, the head of the syndicate Action Committee musician Mustafa Kamel said: “It is impossible that we hold any Arab artist accountable for the simple reason of making a support, regardless of their nationality, whether Egyptian or Arab. ”

He added: “Honestly, we have not received any complaint against Elisa, and the Attorney General’s Office has not requested us to to investigate this issue, we are a syndicate and not one of the judicial authorities of the state.”

Elissa has made it clear through her twitter account that she support the Egyptian comedian that presents El Bernameg satirical show and has attended on of his episodes in Egypt.
