Che Guevara’s Daughter at La Bodeguita Del Medio Beirut

Aleida Guevara, daughter of the Cuban revolutionary leader Ernesto Che Guevara, accompanied by the Cuban ambassador Manuel Serrano Acosta enjoyed the traditions and authentic spirits of Havana at La Bodeguita del Medio Beirut.

On the occasion of her official first visit to Lebanon, La Bodeguita Del Medio welcomed Aleida in Beirut who shared with them her life experience and her father’s great history of achievements.

La Bodeguita del Medio is a Pub-restaurant in the middle of the street, one hundred paved stones from the Cathedral in la Havana. It is famous not only for its menu of out-of-this-world traditional Cuban dishes but also for its delectable Mojitos and its unique decor. Ever since it’s opening in 1942, its clientele has included countless world celebrities in the arts and VIPs in the spheres of science and politics.

The atmosphere is bohemian and retakes the atmosphere of the traditional inn, adorned here with the “Tres” (typical Cuban guitar), maracas, güiros and bongos. Today La Bodeguita del Medio is a world wide franchise opened in almost all the big cities of the world California, Madrid, Paris, Prague, Berlin, Frankfurt, Warsaw, Rome, Milano, Finland, Macedonia, Vancouver, Kiev, London and and in Beirut.
