Everyday is a Holiday

The story takes place in Beirut, current day. Three women, unknown to each other, board the same bus headed towards the men’s prison in the Lebanese backcountry. The first is going to visit her husband, in jail since the day they were married. The second only has one goal in mind: to get her husband, serving a long-term prison sentence, to sign the divorce papers that will finally set her free. The third travels reluctantly, with fear and apprehension in her heart: hidden in her bag, she carries a firearm, forgotten at home by herhusband, a guard at the prison. A road accident in the desert wilderness derails the journey. Lost in the middle of nowhere, the women are completely at the mercy of their fears and anxieties. Through the course of this journey across this arid terrain, the women will be forced to confront the quest for their own independence…
