Beirut will be witnessing distinctive moments with the start of 2012 as T. Gargour & Fils S.A.L., the exclusive and sole agent of Mercedes-Benz in Lebanon, prepares the reveal of its long-awaited and much anticipated all-new ‘M-Class’ 2013.
The third generation of the M-Class sets new benchmarks in the SUV world with its leading-edge automotive technology which boasts special interior and exterior features at the same time. The new M-Class encompasses leading standards of safety and security which has always been a renowned trait by this leading automobile brand.
The modifications applied on the exterior with the AMG Sports package adds a sporty appearance with an aggressive modern design formed with a detailed AMG front apron and muscular side panels lined with chrome. In addition, the LED daytime running lamps which offer enhanced visibility with their adaptive high beam assist automatically adapt the range of headlights to road and traffic conditions and surround the muscular front cover which is set with an ‘Active Bonnet’ popping up and increasing the clearance between the bonnet and engine in case of accidents.
On top of all the distinct exterior features, the Mercedes-Benz engineers ensured that drivers of the M-Class are in upmost comfort and enabled with unparalleled driving experiences due to its flexibility, lightness, ease and responsiveness no matter what the driving conditions are. This new SUV’s carbon emissions have also been decreased by 25%, a breaking record for a car in this category.
With a newer and more powerful V6 CGI engine with 306 horsepower, the M-Class is still a leader in terms of reduced fuel consumption and emissions in its field, setting a new benchmark in the SUV segment, as it also leads the way with its further improved 7G-Tronic Plus automatic transmission.
The 4Matic permanent all-wheel drive, led by large 5-spoke AMG light-alloy wheels, assist in making any driving condition, no matter how bad the roads might seem, an easy expedition for its driver. For even further flexibility while driving, the M-Class has been fit with Active Parking Assist including Parktronic which easily supports the driver into steering the vehicle into parking spaces.
The evolution of the M-Class goes on further to include an automatic panoramic sliding sunroof and heat-insulating dark-tinted glass in addition to an interior space that promotes the passengers’ wellbeing on every trip through a wide range of state-of-the-art features.
