Mercedes-Benz launches the all-new sporty CLA-Class

T. Gargour & Fils has launched the all-new 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class, inspired by its trendsetting, the CLS-Class. The new CLA is a near-verbatim translation of the acclaimed concept style Coupé showcar,  with its sporty and progressive design elements. The Coupé is called the “style rebel”, and offers the Lebanese an advanced car that surpasses expectations.

The Design: The “Style Rebel”

This four-door coupé features breathtakingly sporty proportions and a muscular, dynamic and progressive design. The light modules and LEDs behind the headlamp cover glass have been arranged in such a way as to create the characteristic “flare effect” for the daytime driving lights and indicators, shaping a new Mercedes-Benz face. Three prominent lines give structure to the vehicle when viewed  from the side: the front structural edge over the wings flows towards the rear end in a characteristic dropping line. Another, more powerful line spans the shoulder muscle above the rear axle, while the third line extends in a sweeping curve from the front wheel towards the rear.

The Interior:

The Mercedes CLA is characterized by its breathtakingly sporty proportions and powerfully dynamic design idiom. In the Mercedes-Benz coupé tradition, the CLA cabin combines four sporty seats with a clear focus on driving enjoyment. Yet in an ultramodern twist, the CLA includes room for a fifth passenger along with a fresh take on ergonomically idea displays and controls. A tablet-style screen takes center stage, while aluminum-ringed air vents would be equally at home in a private jet. Every shape and surface is designed to please the eye and invite the touch. Standard amenities include a stop-star stystem, air conditioning, power front seats, a 5.9-inch display screen, cruise control, a split folding rear seat, and anthracite interior trim. Furthermore, a large panoramic sliding sunroof is optionally available.

The CLA-Class features exceptional driving dynamics with a strong engine ranging from 156hp to 211hp. The CLA 200 has an engine capacity of 1595 cc which generates 156hp, radiating power and athleticism. This car is able to sprint from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 8.5 seconds, with a maximum speed of 230 kilometers per hour. As for the CLA250 4MATIC, it has an engine capacity of 1991 cc which generates 211hp, and is able to sprint from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 6.6 seconds, with a maximum speed of 240 kilometers per hour.
