Jeep® Grand Cherokee – the most awarded SUV ever and the vehicle that has long defined what a premium SUV should be -has added yet another prestigious award to its long list of international accolades, being voted Best Mid-Size SUV at the Middle East Motor Awards (MEMA).
Now Gargour Automotive Company (GAC), the only authorized distributor of Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram in Lebanon, has gone a step further, creating a very exclusive “Limited Edition Lebanon” to celebrate Independence Day this November.

The exterior of the Limited Lebanon Edition Grand Cherokee has a very distinctive look with its matt black and red liveried hood, red front and rear tow hooks, matt black front grille, black rims, tinted rear windows and chrome 3D Lebanese flag badges.
And the special features continue on the inside, with a black and beige leather interior, sunroof, 8.4 inch touch screen Uconnect MultiMedia Centre and special numbered “Limited Edition Lebanon” badge in the cabin.
The 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee completely redefines the premium SUV, delivering an unprecedented combination of best-in-class fuel economy and driving range, a choice of leading powertrain options, legendary benchmark capability, world-class craftsmanship, premium on-road driving dynamics and a host of advanced user-friendly technology and safety features.

For 2014, the Jeep Grand Cherokee equipped with the award-winning 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 engine delivers up to 24 mpg (9.8 L/100 km) highway and a driving range of more than 965 kms, while the 5.7-litre HEMI®V8 now achieves up to an estimated 20 mpg (11.76 L/100 km) highway- both engine options are paired to a new, robust and durable eight-speed transmission that, in addition to enhancing fuel economy, also delivers quicker acceleration and precise, smooth shifting, enhancing ride quality to luxury car levels. An additional benefit is a lower crawl ratio of 44.1:1 to aid in climbing over – or through – tough obstacles, when equipped with a two-speed transfer case.
New steering wheel paddle shifters offer improved driver control both on- and off-road, including Electronic Range Select when using Selec-Speed Control in extreme off-road situations.
Legendary Jeep capability comes courtesy of two available 4×4 systems (Quadra-Trac II and Quadra Drive II), Jeep’s Quadra-Lift air suspension system and class-leading Selec-Terrain traction management system. The 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee also boasts best-in-class towing of up to 3,266kgs.
All trim levels of the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee have been given an even more premium look, while simultaneously making each trim level readily identifiable at a glance, while its award-winning interior is one of the most technically advanced, well-crafted interiors in the industry.A new, refined exterior design, complete with new bi-xenon headlamps with signature LED daytime running lamps (DRL) on all models, provides an even more premium appearance. The 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee includes even more safety and security features – more than 60 – including Front Park Assist, Forward Collision Warning with Crash Mitigation, Adaptive Cruise Control and Selec-Speed Control – as well as an array of advanced user-friendly technology features including a 7” customer configurable multiview display cluster.
