Bassoul-Heneine Launch New Renault Clio; Inspired by Desire

These are three words used by Anthony Villain—Design Director, Studio 1, Renault—to describe this five door sedan with all the charm of a coupé. Inspired by the DeZir concept car, New Renault Clio evokes sensuality and desire thanks to its feminine curves; ones which are cherished by Laurens van den Acker; Director of Design at Renault. New Renault Clio mirrors the style and emotion of the concept car, and boasts the new Renault identity, and a sporty design.

A Modern and Welcoming Interior

Like an airplane wing, both sturdy and light, the interior of New Renault Clio inspires a feel of well-being and vitality. It also combines the practical with the pleasurable with its dashboard in the shape of an aircraft wing, its integrated multimedia systems, and its stowage spaces scattered throughout the cabin.  Its interior is just as equally synonymous with comfort and spaciousness, and its large boot boasts a load capacity of 300 liters.

A New Engine; Dynamic and Economical

The cars are equipped with a new, highly dynamic engine TCe 120 coupled with the double-clutch, six speed automatic transmission (EDC). This engine is a four-cylinder 1.2-liter/120 chev-dyn coupled with a turbo, delivering 190 Nm of torque at 2000 r/min. In addition it is highly economical (5.2L/100 KM).

A Cutting-Edge Multimedia System

For the ultimate comfort, New Renault Clio is equipped as standard with a Bluetooth radio which allows for the streaming of audio and music, and includes an integrated microphone. The sound processing quality has been optimized, and the radio comes equipped with a jack socket and USB port.

As an option, the vehicle is equipped with Media Nav; a complete and simple multimedia system that’s intuitive thanks to its tactile touch-screen. It includes a radio, USB ports and jack sockets, Bluetooth® for audio-streaming or hands-free telephony, and a navigation system with a 2D or 3D display.

A Car Made to Measure

New Clio offers personalization options as yet unseen at Renault. Both the interior and exterior can be fully customized; from the steering wheel to the side door panels among others. Myriad customization combinations are possible in this versatile, five door sedan.
