What’s New in 2012 for World Famous Harley-Davidson Motorbikes

Now, I know there are plenty of motorcycle lovers in Lebanon! How many of you are Harley fans? Whether you are a Harley Davidson fan or not keep reading because I am sure after you see these new bikes you’ll become one. Harley Davidson has been a name motorcycle riders can trust for as long as I can remember now the brand that riders know and love are delighted to announce they are kicking off 2012 by introducing two exciting new models. The Sportster Seventy-Two as well as the Softail Slim, let’s start with my favorite of the two, the Softail Slim…

Softail Slim: First before anything I want to say this bike is best in black (as pictured). This bike has the timeless classic look of a hardtail street bike with the comfort, handling and pure rideability of a truly modern motorcycle combine seamlessly in a Harley-Davidson Softail. This bike features a rigid-mounted V-twin nestled into a frame that includes hidden rear suspension. This bike is a true bobber, pure and simple. Inspired by the legendary custom bike movement of the 1940’s, it has an undeniable style that it lives up to in substance. At first glance the spirit of the post WWII bobbers is clear; wide ‘Hollywood’ bars, painted steel rims, retro half moon footboards, a narrow 144mm profile rear tyre with a chopped fender and gloss black ‘Cats Eye’ console with a retro speedometer face. Climb up on the low slung solo seat and open it up to feel the pure power of our latest 1690cc engine. It may be slim, but pound for pound it packs some serious punch.

Sportster Seventy-Two: Another amazing bike with a classic look. Generations of Sportsters have ridden millions of miles. EverySportster stays true to the original DNA – Agile, responsive handling, flat torque curve and that sleek, street riding stance. Sometimes you’ve got to look back to see where you’re heading. And our latest incarnation, the Seventy-Two, has that old-school chopper look perfected. The retro styling cues are all there, loud and proud; peanut tank, mini-ape handlebars, solo seat, chopped rear fender, and white wall tyres. We’re also introducing a new Big Red Flake Paint scheme, so you can get the high-end finish you’d only expect to find in a custom shop.
