2012 Audi A7: Prestige, Functionality and Sportiness

The 2012 A7 is an all-new model from Audi. The new 2012 Audi A7 combines prestige, functionality and sportiness into a five-door coupe with seating for four. This luxury Audi’s model competes with Porsche Panamera, Jaguar XF, Mercedes-Benz CLS and BMW 5 Series GT.

The 2012 Audi A7 is 6.5 inches shorter than Audi’s regular-wheelbase A8, and with a hatchback-style trunk, the coupe design of the new Audi A7 attracts the eye. The aluminum-hybrid lightweight construction with aluminum body panels and a steel frame, provides excellent handling, safety and fuel economy.

The 2012 Audi A7 is offered in three trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige. The base level of 2012 A7 is called now Premium. Standard equipment of Premium includes 18-inch wheels, automatic bi-xenon headlights, automatic wipers, LED running lights, adjustable drive settings, heated windshield washers, a sunroof, heated and auto-dimming mirrors, three-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, leather upholstery, driver memory functions, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, Bluetooth, the Audi MMI system and a 14-speaker Bose sound system.

The Audi A7 Premium Plus adds 19-inch wheels, a navigation system, a rearview camera, front and rear parking sensors, voice control and an enhanced version of MMI. The Audi A7 Prestige gets S line exterior trim, adaptive headlights, keyless ignition, keyless entry, ventilated front seats, a power-adjustable steering weel and an upgraded Bose surround sound system. More other packages are available for all trim levels.

With impeccable attention to detail, the interior of the 2012 Audi A7 is a bold expression of contemporary design that matches the exterior of the vehicle. The stylish interior of A7 is lovely and the dashboard suggest a wide horizontal arc, wrapping around the driver and into the front doors. The standard wood trim is ash, with dark walnut or brushed aluminum optional.

All 2012 Audi A7 models come standard with all-wheel drive, a supercharged 3.0-liter TFSI V6 engine that produces 310 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque, and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The EPA rates the 2012 Audi A7 at 18 mpg city and 28 mpg highway.
