Platform 39 Space Opening

Platform 39 the latest design station in Beirut opened its doors on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 6 pm in the presence of an eclectic crowd. The space is located at Mutran Ghophrael Street in Fassouh – Achrafieh. It offers a unique mix of home furniture and objects created by designers from the Middle East & North Africa. It features a combined coffee-shop space for customers looking for a quiet corner to work, design and create as well as a thematic workshops space “the WagonLab” where people interested in design will get face-to-face support, advice and tips on creative projects.

The 350 square meters space reflects the world of some of the youngest and brightest MENA designers such as & Cairo, Boboboom, Dar en art, Ghassan Salameh, Khalid Shafar, Karassi Co, Micha Amyun, mO/ Santimetre, Nathalie Harb, Sumi Furniture and Ozgen Design Collection. It will be open during the week from 10am until 6.30pm and on Saturday from 10am until 2pm.
