Lebanon Celebrates 68th Independence Day!

Google Doodle today celebrates Lebanon’s Independence Day.

Lebanon today celebrated the 68 anniversary of its independence in earnest Shafik Wazzan -at the center of Beirut, in the presence of President Michel Suleiman, Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and Prime Minister Najib Mikati, and a host of political and security figures. Also take part in celebrating the Lebanese, Vice President of Brazil of Lebanese origin Michel Tamer, the program included a Celebration putting wreaths of flowers on the Monument of the Unknown Soldier, the arrival of military flag, the salutation and congratulations.

The celebration included for the first time a combat display done by the seals, and this offer is the first of its kind, as military helicopters flew over the capital, Beirut, as part of their participation in the parade.

President Suleiman heading after the show, to the Baabda Palace to accept the congratulations, accompanied by Chairman of the House of Representatives and the President of the Council of Ministers starting the eleventh hour.
