Japan Meets Lebanon at ‘Oceanus Sur O’

October 2012 has witnessed a historical culinary event for Jounieh. ‘Oceanus Sur O’ celebrated its grand opening right by the sparkling coast of the Mediterranean Sea in Jounieh, following its success in Beirut, by inviting media partners to relish a rich variety of specialty dishes including Lebanese mezza, seafood and Japanese sushi.

While taking delight in the charming seaside ambience, guests indulged in an appetizing feast of salmon, prawns, shellfish and calamari, in addition to the fresh catches of the day and a selection of Lebanese bites. With an ideal location and true to its bold wooden design elements, ‘Oceanus Sur O’ accommodates up to 150 guests within its indoor area with room for 300 on its outdoor terrace.

Commenting on the occasion, the managing partners at ‘Oceanus Sur O’ say, “We are pleased to have expanded our kitchen from Beirut to Jounieh, offering a new concept that blends Lebanese seafood with Japanese cuisine amid exceptional, unmatched service;”  they add, “We are keen to constantly bring a variety of fresh new dishes to our menu and without any compromise, just as we have done since 1991, when we had first started importing fresh seafood from the equatorial regions of the Atlantic Ocean.”
