‘Confessions’ at ‘House of Today’: The Meeting Place for Lebanese Designers

House of Today is the first artisanal platform in Lebanon brought to you by Cherine Magrabi.

This initiative is a collaborative platform between designers, visual artists and craftspeople brought together to create “designed craftsmanship” that ranges from fashion, lighting, porcelain, tableware, soaps, stationery, furniture, home accessories and delicatessen.

In its first edition, Cherine Magrabi has chosen the theme of ‘Confessions’ for artists and designers to create their own personal rendition and revelations of their personal confessions.

An impressive roster of prominent Lebanese designers such as: Annabel Kassar, Bernard Khoury, Joe Kesrouani, Hoda Baroudi & Maria Hibri (Bokja), Karen Chekerdjian, Karim Chaya, Makram El Kadi, May Daouk, Nada Debs, Nadim Karam, Rabih Kayrouz, Raed Abillama, Riad Kamel & Souheil Hanna have created limited edition pieces that each reveal the artists’ confessions.

House of Today’s first event, Confessions, will last for one month only, from May 29 to June 29 of 2012,  taking place at Villa Zein from 10 am to 7 pm, Mondays through Saturdays.
