Needless of an introduction, the infamous Cirque du Soleil will be performing in Lebanon for the first time ever from May 10-13 at the Forum de Beyrouth, brought to you by Route 69 Productions.
The group will be performing their vibrant signature production, Saltimbanco, which is Cirque de Soleil’s longest-running touring show that has been presented in front of 11.5 million fans across Europe, North and South America, Australia, Japan and New Zealand since 1992.
Saltimbanco is a signature and classic Cirque du Soleil show inspired by the urban structure of the city and its vibrant residents.
Saltimbanco features a global cast of 51 performers and musicians from over 20 countries. It is an exhilarating carnival of breathtaking artistic skill and agility, featuring incredible acrobatics and astonishing athleticism involving both impressive solos and ensembles.
The show’s diverse cast of characters draws spectators into a fanciful, dreamlike world, an imaginary city where diversity is a cause for hope.
Saltimbanco is riveting, from the seemingly impossible balancing, jumping and spinning during the Chinese Poles or the Russian Swing to the gravity-defying Bungees and Trapeze, the crowd-pleasing Juggling and Acrobatic Bicycle, to the celebrated and very unique Clowns. Technical proficiency and extravagant design are intertwined with elevating stunning costumes, marvelous lighting, humor and captivating music and magic. Filled with colors, amusement and amazement, Saltimbanco is a fun show for the entire family to enjoy.
Cirque du Soleil is a major Quebec-based organization providing high-quality artistic entertainment.
