With all the new venues sprouting up around town, no Lebanese can say that “it’s getting boring,” or that “we need something new,” but for those of you who were still looking for that extra something, look no further than the Beirut Souks. Last week, the people of Beirut witnessed the opening of the Beirut Souks’ 400 m Ice Skating Rink, facing Ajami Square, and the many kiosks surrounding it that will remain open till February 28.
Beirut on Ice, the first outdoor ice skating rink in the country, is a project brought to you by BREMCO, Solidere and Beirut Souks. Its aim is to reignite the passion for this sport after several years of closing down the Ice Skating Arena in Zouk Mosbeh.
Beirut on Ice welcomes everyone from 7 years and up. For 20,000 LBP, you can enjoy two hours of ice skating. Children will be monitored by professional skaters and families and friends can enjoy the lovely winter ambiance while resting at one of the several wooden kiosks that serve food and refreshments.
This is an excellent place for outdoor fun, where people of all ages can come together in a fun-filled spirit, sharing that excitement of trying something new for a limited time. It’s a great opportunity for kids to enjoy playing outdoors in the city.
The ice skating rink and kiosks are open daily from 12 noon till 12 midnight.
See you there; don’t miss out on all the fun!
