Sneakers Would Party takes over Mar Mkhayel, Beirut

As part of its global campaign entitled ‘Sneakers Would’, Converse set out to inspire spontaneous fun, taking the everyday and turning it into the unforgettable. The ‘Sneakers Would’ campaign unfolded across Beirut, engaging hip and trendy youth with the brand of sneakers. At Radio Beirut in Mar Mkhayel, a cool line up of talents partied the night away with the hyped out crowds.
Taking to the stage, the lineup included:FareeQ El Atrash, an Arabic hip hop band from Beirut, with true-school style, topical flows and live instrumentation; MC Allan Chaaraoui, who got the crowd hyped up and DJ Cesar K, who spun the coolest beats into the early hours of the night.
The crowds that turned up were spontaneously invited, having received branded bracelets, to take part in the event. Once inside, guests took to the ‘Sneakers Would’ wall, inscribing courageous statements and spontaneous thoughts.
This event was part of the unveiling of the Converse All Star collection featuring new silhouettes and elevated detailing. Featuring a sleek monochromatic look, the new Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Rubber protects from rainy day weather and music festival mud pits, perfect for the fall season.
New detailing on the Chuck Taylor All Star also include the Back Zip and Tri Zip,which incorporate zipper detailing to create a stylish look perfect for the fall season. Distressed washes and contemporary graphic prints also get highlighted this season to create a modern collection fashioned through a vintage inspired lens.
