Whether you’re in Lebanon for the summer holidays or you live here, this is the hottest season in the country – and we’re not just talking about the weather! After last year’s success, one of the hottest upcoming festivals is the 9-day Beirut Holidays 2013, after the end of Ramadan. Get ready for the unprecedented stellar performances to be held at the Beirut Souks from August 9- 18 with exciting and dazzling shows in the middle of beautiful Beirut! From Lebanese singers, to legendary performers and contemporary troupes, there’s a little bit of everything to make your Beirut Holidays 2013 the most memorable yet.
The festival will start with a bang with a concert by pop icon and multi-platinum superstar Nancy Ajram, moving through to the legendary Ziad Rahbani in a special concert “DAKT, a performance by the “prince of romance” Wael Kfoury, the “it” boy of Lebanese music Anthony Touma from The Voice, a true living legend with his authentic tarab Mr. Sabah Fakhri, the modern ballet troop Boys of Dance, with their show “Rock the Ballet”, and finishing off the event are performances by the great diva Elissa and popular Lebanese band Adonis.
