The renowned Caracalla Dance Theatre’s much anticipated return to the Beiteddine Art Festival was a huge success. Crowds enjoyed a specially imagined theatrical trilogy of Scheherazade, Bolero and Lebanese Folklore.
Leading an internationally renowned creative team, Ivan Caracalla directed this passionate production with an innovative choreography from Alissar Caracalla.
The enchanting visual creation was the live orchestra of the Lebanese Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Harout Fazlian, marking the first time in the Middle East that a balletic musical production is performed to a full fledge orchestra. Special appearances from Hoda Haddad, Joseph Azar, Rifaat Torbey and Simon Obeid, among others were also part of the highlights of show.
The summer festivals in Lebanon have kicked off and as usual Beiteddine shines with its performances.
