is inspired by the poem”Butterfly Valley – A requiem” by Danish poet Inger Christensen, in which butterflies become a poetic symbol of life’s volatility.
The performance transforms the words of the poet into sensuous images and alluring movements. The choreography reflects the butterflies’ anatomy and metamorphosis.
IMAGO (latin: image, likeness) Unconsciously image or concept formation.
Biology: the last stage of the butterfly complete metamorphosis from egg to larva, pupa and full-grown butterfly.
