More about the Ship to Gaza initiative:
The Ship to Gaza initiative is a Greek and Swedish organization which is working hard to break the siege in Gaza and needs our help. Their ship took part in the May 2010 Freedom Flotilla, and although they were not able to break the blockade, they succeeded in turning the world’s attention towards the injustice and humanitarian tragedy that has somehow been sustained unabated for years. And now that the whole world has taken notice, it’s time to act. Things are finally beginning to change. Members of The Ship to Gaza came back home proud of their accomplishment, but exhausted, abused, tired and weary, and in huge amounts of debt. Nevertheless, they are already planning the next flotilla! And we want to help them.
