Established in Beirut, Carwan is the first pop-up gallery that promotes international limited-edition design in the Middle East. Through exhibitions in various locations of the region and worldwide design events, Carwan features unique contemporary design objects from international cutting-edge designers.

The evnt is now brought to Beirut for an official inauguration on May 27, hosted by Karim Bekdache showroom in Mar Mikahel.

It will be held under the patronage of the Italian and the Canadian Embassies. The opening will feature as well a design symposium in collaboration with ALBA ( Lebanese Academy of Fine and Arts), with the participation of the designers. From May 30 to June 1^st, Alba will then host a 3-day workshop, inviting two of the designers to lecture an open audience.
